Often when families grow up life steers some of them in different directions and many end up in different towns, counties or even countries. This family figured out how to stay connected and found a great way to see everyone at least once a year. Since the adults were kids, they have been coming to Siesta Key for a summer vacation. As adults they reunite by renting a few vacation cottages in the same place and just taking a week to have fun, catch up and allow the kids to spend time with their cousins. What fun it was to be invited to tag along for a day or two and capture some images for them. Everyone was so nice and made us feel totally welcomed. Thanks you guys, you were awesome.
It is a little difficult to explain what it feels like you enter the room and these beautiful women are present. They are sisters and full of energy and fun. I was invited to capture some images for them, by a dear friend and it was my absolute pleasure to do so. Every single one of these girls has a delightful sunny personality and they all exude charm and warmth. They made me feel so welcomed in their midst and he couple of hours, I had the privilege to spend with them were filled with smiles and laughter. I truly hope I managed to capture a tiny part of their colorful personalities.
They are back, the dynamic duo! Oh wait, there are 5 of them. It was time for Asher’s 9-months shoot and we decided we would meet in a friend’s backyard to capture Asher’s growth progress. Little Asher is 9 months old and ready to conquer the world. I am always in awe at how quickly another 3 months go by. Kara and Rob always know how to relax and enjoy their children while I observe and capture the family interactions and crazy moments that make for fun memories.
I hope you enjoy the visit as much as I did and thanks for stopping by to have a peek.
I have always thought that I might like to try my hand at wedding photography but have been hesitant. I was worried that there would be too much pressure and I would not enjoy it. As it turns out, I was wrong. When Jessica and Austin asked me to consider photographing their wedding, I didn’t even hesitate and jumped at the chance. All thoughts of the pressure were forgotten in the excitement of this beautiful couple getting married. It was a wonderful experience and I am so happy they gave me the opportunity to be a part of their special day. I hope you guys enjoy this small peek at their happy occasion.
I couldn’t have done it without my awesome second shooter either. Thanks Mark !
I felt honored to be asked to capture some images for this lovely family. I had only spoken to one member of the family and had no idea how the dynamics would be. It always makes me a little nervous to meet a large group of new people. I can honestly say I didn’t need to be nervous, they were all so wonderful and nice. The grandfather had been having some health issues but he was right there in the middle of things for the photos. I think having them all together for the photos was a very important moment for all of them. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, not needing a whole lot of direction and just enjoying a couple of hours of them all being together. When all was said and done, I walked away feeling wonderful about everyone that I had just met.
