I have known Rachel for a long time. In fact, when we met she was a cute girl in high school. Since then she has grown into a lovely young woman, married her best friend, and now their first child is on the way. I was thrilled and honored when she asked me to capture some images of her during the pregnancy. Here is a sampling of the images that resulted from that afternoon.

Maybe you will remember this beautiful family from a previous post. Their newest addition has arrived and I am honored to have been asked to capture a few images of him and the rest of the family members as they are adjusting to a new baby. This little guy couldn’t have been more cooperative, he was such a great sleeper and made my job so easy. He even rewarded us with a smile, what more could one wish for.

It was so much fun spending time with this beautiful family. We all had a great and relaxing couple of hours at the beach getting to know each other and enjoying a relaxed photo shoot. There was some concern how this beautiful little girl would react to a stranger with a camera, but thanks to lollipops, all went great. The lollipops weren’t the only thing that made the little one smile. Mom was not too shy to act silly and make the experience a fun one for all involved. You couldn’t ask for a more fun and photogenic family.

These are the ties that bind this beautiful family together. When I enter their house for our photo sessions, I always feel so comfortable and welcome around this talented and happy family . All five of them make me smile .
Rob is smart and so passionate about all the things that he is involved in: his faith, his family , his work and his music. It is almost magical to hear his beautiful voice. His sense of humor keeps me smiling the entire time.
Being around Kara is like stepping out into the sun. She has this ability to make you smile and feel happy. No one can deny the love and devotion that exists towards her children and husband, and even others. Kara is truly is beautiful in every way, inside and out.
The children are a combination of their amazing parents and I love to be around them. Things always get a bit chaotic, but it is always a fun experience. I love how Rob and Kara take it all in stride and don’t seem to be too disturbed by anything that occurs in their house…. Except for the occasional iPhone-in-the-toilet?
I hope you will enjoy the glimpse into their life , as the littlest family member has arrived and is one month old already.

It was another gorgeous, sunny day in Florida, so this lovely family thought they would enjoy some quality time together before the arrival of their new baby-boy. Things always seem to get a little hectic in those first few weeks, after a baby arrives. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their time at DuBois Park, and that was the perfect opportunity for me to capture some of those special moments for this family.
Thank you, Krista and Matt, for asking me to come along and letting me be part of your fun afternoon, I truly enjoyed getting to know you and your family a little bit.
